Doesn’t this WIP (work in progress) jumper look great?
Sometimes it’s really a handicap being so impatient ;-))

No, no, ‘iamond’ is no typing error, these things are called like this and are nothing else than shapes composed from equilateral triangles.
Here somebody went the (for me crucial) step further and made nice lantern diagrams from.
I still must find out whether they really can be used as lanterns.
The paper lampshade on the other hand is also made from nearly equilateral triangles.

I presented already the necklace bust and the mini dress-form jewelry stand, now here another just as well idea: a plaster board with cast in doll arms.
It get’s more and more difficult to decide where to put your jewelry, doesn’t it? ;-))

When I saw the drinking straw pin I thought: ‘Oh yes, I want!’ ;-)
It is quite easy: I took two different coloured drinking straws, cut them (veeery carefully!) into spirals with an X-acto knife und knotted them (not too firm) together.
This way my little ball stays in form without glue, sewing or the like.
I wanted to cut them first with scissors but I got ugly edges, the cut must be made with a really sharp cutting tool.
I find it cute as well as jewelry as well as tree ornament ;-)
I don’t quilt, although it’s hard for me not just to try it out. I simply don’t have the place.
Anyhow I found this very simple way to make heart appliqués very simple way to make heart appliqués inspirational.
Perhaps just one try…?
At least a little bit?
;-))
By the way, I don’t find the stamped appliqués very orthodox, too ;-)

I always wanted to make beads from play dough, now I have an instruction.
While researching I also found an instruction for microwave salt dough ornaments and more salt daough recipes, perhaps they’re better?!

I don’t know the name of this crochet pattern but I find it very nice.
I would’ve liked to crochet a sommer top with it but I’d never finish it.
Such a crochet sachet is therefore the right thing for me to work a little on the pattern ;-))
And it’s very apt to be a little gift and/or soap sachet.

Well, I guess that it’s too late now to finish the Christmas Snow Flower Quilt before Christmas, but 1. you can’t begin too soon when quilting (and in a manner of speaking it’s close to Christmas 2010 ;-)) and 2. they have much more patterns on the page not only holiday patterns :)

Lately two ideas crashed in my head and I like the result ;-)
One was the eraser stamp, the other the repeating patterns.
I marked the size of my eraser on paper, designed there a pattern following the technique of the repeating patterns, carved it from my eraser (it was mirrored but that’s no problem with this pattern) and begun stamping.
It is great to make repeating patterns on cards or the like, but when I’ll need to stamp a bigger area I’LL prefer to use the rolling pin print (here and here).

The last days I presented some ornaments and they all have to be attached somehow.
I found the beaded wire ornament hooks very nice for this.
