Actually this isn’t an Advent calendar, but when I saw it I immediately thought of a colouring page Advent calendar: draw the numbers on paper and let the recipient colour them in daily :)

For all who rather knit socks than lace knitter’s Advent calendars (what I can’t imagine at all! ;-)), here the scrap yarn sock Advent calendar of 2014.
I find the idea great: you gather your yarn stash and get every day an instruction how much to knit in what colour and/or pattern.
Brilliant! :))
There was also a Scrap Yarn Sock Advent Calendar in 2015, possibly even this year :)

I find this village Advent calendar also nice! :)

I find the embroidered sweater ornament really cute!
It is made from wood but I think that it’d look as nice if you’d made the sweater from strong cardboard :)
As in the last years you’ll get from me the Lace Knitter’s Advent Calendar 2016 this year: every day a little door will open, a little more pattern will be released and at Christmas you will have a most beautiful shawl :)
Merry Advent time!

With the microwave salt dough you can make Christmas tree ornaments, gift tags, but also Valentine’s Day ornaments and Halloween decorations, e.g. matching the knitted Halloween ornaments ;-)

The recyled gift box is made from toilet paper rolls or cardboard rolls.
I find them great for Advent calendars and isn’t it cute? :)

Aren’t the origami ornaments cute?
As cute as the paper diamonds and you can greatly combine both :)
