If you want to knit a round shawl one day, you must know how many stitches in which round to increase.
The circular shawl spreadsheet is a great help there!

I still have more generators ;-)
The word backstitch pattern generator works like the word cross stitch pattern generator, but the result is – as you can see in the picture – a backstitch pattern ;-)
Looks also good :)
But you can find there also word cross stitch pattern generators, if this is more your cup of tea.

I still have more generators ;-): At the word cross stitch pattern generator you can select a cross stitch pattern, enter a word and get your very personal cross stitch template incl colour list.
Nice, isn’t it?
‘unikatissima‘ has only been a little too long so I had to wrap it ;-)

The pavilion pattern generator was another one which flummoxed me under the found generators.
But however, I find the idea great ;-)

While searching for generators I also found the inkle loom weave pattern generator.
Here you can relate different colours to the different slots of the inkle loom and see directly how the band will look.
That’s useful :)
By the way, the Kumihimo pattern planner works in the same way, only for Kumihimo cords ;-)

Another wonderful idea for a generator: you let calculate the atomic spectrum of a desired chemical element and make a knitting pattern for a scarf from it (or a pattern for bead weaving, crochet etc.)!
The generator shows you then how many rows you must work for every colour.
I find this a great idea!
The picture has been calculated with the standard settings, I only made it broader to make it look more like a scarf ;-)

Well, I announced yesterday that I will present some generators, the corset pattern generator is one of those which flummoxed me most!
But on second thought an Elizabethan corset must of course be made-to-measure ;-)
