Sneaker Customizing

Beru Betto Customized Sneakers

Somehow I really love painted shoes and so I was thrilled about the tutorial for self customized sneakers.
As much fun as spraypainted shoes ;-)

I think that I won’t do this because first I have too much shoes already and second they somehow don’t match my style, but who knows? ;-)

Bag from Granny Squares

Vallieskids Granny Squares Bag

I really like crochet bags ;-), therefore the tutorial on how to make bags from crochet squares came in handy.
It remembered me of Inga’s Häkelbeutel, but is still easier to make.
You can make it also with my Lacy Crochet Square Margarethe but I think that the holes will be too big if you don’t line it.

Anyhow: Have fun crocheting the next beach bag ;-)

Concerning unikatissima

From today on there are two improvements at unikatissima:

  1. is unikatissima a little older already and can get ‘historical’ ;-))
Therefore I put a link (This day last year) in the right navigation bar which you can use to see the ‘historical’ (but in no way out-of-date! ;-)) entry.
  2. I want to improve unikatissima and put therefore some little hearts at the end of every entry with which you can rate the entry with one click only and totally anonymous (if you don’t see any little hearts please click the title of the entry, you can find them at the end near the comments).
This way I can learn what you and the other readers like without you having to make a fuss.
So please rate the entries if you like them – I didn’t even think that you could not like them ;-))

Anyway I wish you a lot of fun with the old and the new tutorials :))

Luxurious Fascinator

Corvus tristis Luxurious Fascinator

It would have never occurred to me to make such fascinators by myself, but then: Why not? ;-))

My hair is very soft and thin, therefore my fascinator should be at the most half as luxurious, but I think I will see what I can do there :)

Clothesline Sewing – A Fabric Bowl

CraftStylish Clothesline Sewing-Sew A Fabric Bowl

After having presented clothesline crochet and clothesline knitting I have now ‘clothesline sewing’ ;-)

The point here is to take a cord and at the same time cover it with fabric and coil a basket from the whole thing just as with the ‘real’ basket coiling.

I find the little baskets absolutely cute, but I have a sewing machine so old that it doesn’t even have a zig zag stitch and I won’t do this by hand! ;-)

Your name in Japanese

japanesetranslator Susann

I find the Japanese name translator really great, I simply let output the name Susann in all possible fonts ;-)

I’m not yet sure what to do with them but nothing could be easier than to turn them into filet crochet/cross stitch embroidery charts and then we’re really going to get started with knitting, crocheting, embroidering, knotting, stencelling etc ;-))

Or I print them as signature next time on a greeting card.
Or I cut a stamp from it.
Do you have more ideas?
