I find this idea of making palm trees from candy really great again!
She suggests in her instruction to use the technique for ‘suckable’ Christmas wreaths.
Then it should be possible to make edible Halloween wreaths as well?! ;-)

If you want to have other shapes than leaves you can use the home-built 3-D printer ;-)
And as addition to the wreaths you can make the candy shot glasses.

I think that it would be as well interesting to try the special shapes from aluminium foil or the positive moulds from pebbles.

And somehow the whole thing should be possible to be made with chocolade instead of candy, just as the edible stucco, don’t you think so?

Well, somehow this all would be very interesting, wouldn’t it? ;-)

These knit-felted knot bracelets are cute, aren’t they?

I think that you can surely make them with filled I-cords, too, then they are more firm (only take care about what happens to the filling when felting with hot water!). In principle it’s what Sue suggested in her comment.

Or the whole thing may be even possible with a buttoned I-cord bracelet, where the original was made with beads. When using glass buttons or glass beads it should be no problem to felt it (but I haven’t tried it yet).

Possibly you can even use filled and felted I-cords to make a fabric bowl from?!

And when you felt some of the cords of the cute spaghetti scrap scarf it surely looks great, too.

Oof, soo many ideas ;-))

I find this 12-sided calendar a nice idea for a gift.
It is made for 2009 but you can adapt it to 2010 from the blank template yourself, possibly even handwritten and embellished with funny sketches.

Actually it’s time to bead me a nice necklace, e.g. this spiral chain.
At least I find that I should ;-)

She says that it is an easy stitch that is worked quickly.
Once I tried the stitch and I find that she’s right.
Only I gave the necklace away and took (of course!) no photo before.
Well, I have to make it again, this time for me ;-)

I really like the idea for those plastic bottle candle holders – only the colours are not my cup of tea.
I imagine them vividly coloured – that would be great for a beautiful summer evening where you make a barbecue on the patio.
Now I only have to get a patio and a barbecue ;-)

Whitewash Paper

‘Whitewash paper’ sounds strange, but that’s exactly what she does in her tutorial with the decorative paper: she tints stripes of the decorative paper so that the original pattern shows through.
I find it very elegant.

I think that should be possible with gesso, too (as are so many other things: Wow!) – but I still have to try it out.
