Quick Bag from T-Shirt

unikatissima T-Shirt Yarn

Actually I prefer photo tutorials to video tutorials because I can look at photos as long and close as I want, but I find the instruction for a quick bag out of a t-shirt so great that I wanted to present it anyhow.
The way she’s making it it really takes only five minutes to make from the t-shirt a nice bag where the flap still can be embellished, e.g. with embroideries, but also with Freeform pieces crocheted extra for the flap or bead embroidered Paisleys or crochet squares or (paper) flowers or whatever you can think about ;-))

(By the way, I ‘nicked’ the photo from the entry T-Shirt Yarn ;-))

Positive-Negative Card

unikatissima Positive-Negative Card

While searching my instructions I found Positive – Negative Pumpkin! back and thought: ‘Yes, that’s exactly right for a snowman’.
It’s cute, isn’t ist??

You need a coloured card for the background, white paper, pencil and scissors (or X-acto knife).
I always need an eraser, too ;-))

First I trimmed the paper to the right size.
I left a small border to the edge of the actual card because I like it better this way.

Then I sketched my snowman.
I made a PDF file (~ 55 KB) from my snowman template, so you can make your own snowman card :))

Here I just layed the elements out – they still have to be glued on.

unikatissima Positive-Negative Card Finally I pricked two holes in the card left and right of the neck and pulled two threads of wool through, that I knotted under the snowman’s ‘chin’.
I still like him everytime I see him ;-))

Wire from Plastic Bottles

wikiHow Wire from Plastic Bottles

I presented some instructions already where plastic bottles are ‘processed’.
I find this here remarkable anyhow because she shows how to make a wire from a plastic bottle!

Embroidered Rainbow Elephants Spiral

craftster Embroidered Rainbow Elephants Spiral

Doesn’t the Elephants spiral look cute?
However considering my physique I’d better embroider other animals, or flowers or even Paisleys ;-)
