Hm, I’m saying ‘Doodled Backgrounds’, but in fact I should have said ‘Most Beautiful Backgrounds’.
That’s what I think ;-))

On several occasions you must pick up stitches along edges as a knitter, but because the stitches don’t have the same height as width, you must know, what you do if you want the knitted item to look good.
A good description can be a great help, then ;-)
Nearly three years ago I’ve been interested in Paisleys and freeform needlework. After having seen the freeform Paisley scrumbles I’d like to play around with freeform once again ;-)
By the way, the little items are a great way to use up your stash ;-)

I find this a great idea: you wrap your gift, collapse the box and save shipping costs, because it will be send as a letter.
Won’t it?

Incidentally I presented ‘normal’ boxes here, too :)

I like this idea, too: fold a potholder, sew together and embellish and you’ll have a padded eyeglass case.
However, if I think about a previous ‘very simple’ sewing project I’m sceptical whether I will be able to make it so easily ;-))

I find the felt Peony really cute, and it doesn’t seem to be too difficult ;-)
Even though I’d prefer to make it as brooch.
Although it surely can also – much smaller – be made as necklace pendant, bracelet embellishment or earring.

I’ve made this with the ironed wax crayon shavings between tissue paper layers before: it’s been fun :))
Unfortunately I didn’t take photos.

That is a nice and quick idea, too: wrap plaster bandages around a glass, let it dry and embellish it :)
