Faux Turquoise

The Polymer Clayspot Faux Turquoise

I found the jewelry with the self-made turquoise already a long time ago and was thrilled!

Once I tried myself making my own turquoises from Fimo but it didn’t quite work.
Somewhen I will try it again… ;-)

Beaded Wooden Spools

Aunt Mollys Bead Street Beaded Wooden Spools

When I saw the little beaded wooden spools I directly wanted to go for making them myself!
Luckily I didn’t have any wooden spools at home at the moment ;-))

But you can easily ‘weave’ the little Peyote beads from my paper beads bracelet (without any wooden spools ;-)) around the wooden spools.

Beaded Shoes

Craft Passion Beaded Shoes

I’d never have had the idea myself: beading shoes!
Up until now I mostly ‘jumped’ at buttons and pins and the bead embroidered Paisleys are still on my list, but shoes…
If you don’t like the pattern, check out again the cross stitch patterns treasures ;-)

I’m thrilled, it’s possible that I really will make them once ;-)

You can possibly even embroider your self-made shoes.
On the other hand it may be easier to spraypaint the shoes.
And if you are a sneaker type you may prefer to customize your sneakers ;-)
Besides fall has begun, possibly you better add crochet embellishments to your shoes?! ;-)

Spiral Rope Chain

beltana Spiral Rope Chain

Actually it’s time to bead me a nice necklace, e.g. this spiral chain.
At least I find that I should ;-)

She says that it is an easy stitch that is worked quickly.
Once I tried the stitch and I find that she’s right.
Only I gave the necklace away and took (of course!) no photo before.
Well, I have to make it again, this time for me ;-)

Wire Hairpin Lace Bracelet

Knit Awry Wire Hairpin Lace Bracelet

You can do a lot with wire – even hair pin lace!
Looks wonderful, the bracelet, doesn’t it?

Oh yes, my list ;-))

But I have already a self-made hair pin lace loom ;-))

Beaded Bicone Bead

beadwork about_com Bicone Bead

Finally a beaded bead again ;-)

I like this one very much, the shape is more dynamic than the one of the easy Peyote beads that I presented at the paper beads.

I haven’t tried them yet (of course!) but I will one day ;-)

Crocheted Beads

flickr BeaG Crocheted Beads

I have found this tutorial for crocheted wooden beads before and then I lost it – I was quite unhappy!
But now I found it back (somewhere else!) and I’m feeling fine again ;-))

I haven’t tried it yet but I would like to make them with coloured yarns because you can make so wonderful hues with.

Beaded Spiral Button

beadwork about_com Spiral Button

While surfing I found a beautiful spiral button.
I have to give it a try ;-)

If I don’t like it, I can still come back to my own spiral beads ;-)
Or to the folded spirals.
Or the crochet spiral ;-)))
