I love at the chocolate praline Advent calendar the simplicity of the idea: take a praline box with 24 or 25 pralines and simply cut 24 ‘little doors’ into the thick protection layer! :)

They must be soo yummy!
Now it’s time for green cabbage again and I will see if I can’t make me something to nibble at ;-)
Both recipes (English and German or English Google translation, resp.) are somewhat different, best try for yourself which you like best.

I knew painting with milk from kids crafts, but would never have had the idea that you can also use it for ‘adult painting ;-)

Actually the 3 coloured cupcakes get more embellishments, but I like them already as they are here :)

Marinated Vegetables
I love pickled vegetables, but it’s too much fuss for me to make it myself. That’s why I was so glad to find the marinated vegetables: it’s fast and easy to make them and as yummy as the others :)
I made mine with kohlrabi and will use less sugar next time, but that’s a question of taste.
Of course I’m aware that marinated vegetables aren’t as healthy as pickled vegetables, but you can’t have everything ;-)
