Mokume Gane Flower

Silvana Barba Mokume Gane Flower

I love pink and orange, find polymer clay Mokume Gane amazing and like big florets: you can surely imagine how I find the instruction for pink orange polymer clay Mokume Gane florets ;-))

Paper Leaves Wreath

the red thread Paper Leaves Wreath

I don’t really like door wreaths, but even though I won’t make it and hang it on my door I find the paper leaves wreath somehow beautiful :)
It was made originally for Christmas, but I think that it could as well be a spring or summer wreath with green paper or an autumn wreath with paper in brown, red and yellow.
And with papers like those for the place mat it looks presumably great the whole year long :))

Random Knitting Chart Generator

babyzcostumeshop Random Knitting Chart Generator

As said before I looked recently for pattern generators and found also the random knitting chart generator.
I find this idea so great, somewhen I must knit this pattern ;-)

For the lace pattern on the picture I checked knit, purl, knit two together and yarn over, I didn’t check mirrored.

By the way I learned about this through the Ravelry group ‘Random Pattern Generators’, they found my generators also great ;-))

Kumihimo Pattern Planner

Recently I looked again for pattern generators, after all I made some myself (see links below ;-)) and I want to know what great ideas other people have ;-)

One of these great ideas ist the Kumihimo pattern planner.
You can get with it the initial position of the threads for a simple 8-braid for a given pattern.
They didn’t explain what a ‘simple 8-braid’ is but I think that it is the same as in my Kumihimo entry, I didn’t have the time to check this, yet.

Frufru

DerStandard Frufru

Well, doesn’t the ruffle pillow look merry?
I got a nice email (thanks, Barbara!) with a link to the article on the subject of ‘Frufru’ and she asked me whether I have heard about this.
Never!
My search for instructions actually provided only a video that seems to be an ad for the sewing machines where you can see how this is done.
But I don’t have the slightest idea whether this can be done with ‘normal’ sewing machines, too (mine at least can not ;-)).
