Crocheted Flower Shawl

junghanswolle Crocheted Flower Shawl

I find this crocheted scarf really cute, it simply consists of lengths of chains and strewn little flowers ;-)
Once I crocheted this pattern, but without the lengths of chains and even though it looks tricky I didn’t found it very difficult.
You just have to follow the diagram carefully ;-))

junghanswolle Crocheted Flower ShawlThe pattern isn’t available anymore.

But I found the scarf very cute and so I tried to remember how it worked and wrote my own pattern.
It is much more flexible because it tells you how to modify the length of chains between the little flowers.

Recycled Roses

alisa burke Recycled Roses

I find these roses from fabric or paper most beautiful, even without wreath!
And it seems that they are easy to make, which does no harm! ;-))

They should look great for jewelry, too, for a ring or earring e.g.?!

If they’re not exactly your cup of tea simply look for flowers from fabric or flowers from paper ;-)

Colourful Coasters from Curling Ribbon

Chica and Jo Colourful Coasters from Curling Ribbon

I really like the idea of the coasters, too: you often get curling ribbon nearly thrown after and it’s always wonderfully colourful, just the right thing for a picnic or a festive meal on the patio :)

But be careful: the coasters aren’t likely to be heat-proof!

And if you don’t like them, I have more tutorials for coasters ;-)

Sock Grass Heads

Ordinary Life Magic Sock Grass Heads

There, aren’t the little ones real personalities? ;-)
Well, perhaps I will put some of these little ones on my balcony.
If I haven’t anything better to do with my socks ;-))

Sewn Potholders

Lola Nova Sewn Potholders

I find these sewn potholders soo beautiful!
I even tried it once but it didn’t work: I wanted to sew on spirals, but the stitching made the fabric pucker up completely although I made the stitch length as long as possible.
Probably the needle thread tension was too high or the like, I have to try it once more.
Somewhen ;-))
