Photo Kaleidocycles

foldplay Photo Kaleidocycles

Once I had the Kaleidocycles book from M.C.Escher and I even folded some of the kaleidocycles, but then I never thought about it any more.
Until I found the page where you can let make kaleidocycles from your own potos.

If you want to see a kaleidocycle in action, look at the M.C.Escher Kaleidocycles the middle picture.
Or look at one of the videos in internet.
You can also read more about kaleidocycles or simply look at photos of them.

But best is making one yourself and to ‘spin round’ ;-))

Knitted Ball

unikatissima Knitted Ball

Well, one day I wanted to have a rage ball – a soft ball that I can bash hard against a wall without doing any damage.
I never had to use my knitted ball this way, but at least I know now how to knit it ;-))

If you feel this would be too easy for you, try the lace balls ;-)

Beaded Leaves

craftster Beaded Leaves

These leaves are a kind of Peyote leaves and they are called ‘Russian St. Petersburg leaves’.
She made the tutorial because she didn’t find any – I find that great!

Ehm, I did find another tutorial (just in case) ;-)

If the leaves are called ‘Russian St. Petersburg leaves’ then I think that they are supposed to be made for the St.Petersburg necklace – that stands to reason, doesn’t it? In any case they would match wonderfully.

Microwave Potato Chips

instructables Microwave Potato Chips

Hmm, it’s quite a long time since I last ate homemade potato chips, I do have to make them again ;-)

The fine thing about the microwave potato chips is that they are prepared without fat – not to sneeze at with my physique ;-)
I like them nevertheless when well seasoned (I’m using salt and paprika – I’m a purist ;-))
Personally I prefer the potato slices to be a tad thicker, but that’s a pure matter of taste.
I suggest: try it yourself ;-)
