I find the recyceled wrapping beautiful, but I fear that a lot of people I know would consider this as an affront ;-(

Sweater Turban
Well, I find the turban a simple yet elegant solution about what to do with an old cozy sweater ;-)

Toilet Paper Tube as Window Stopper

That’s no big deal, but helpful ;-):
To prevent our windows from slamming shut, we latterly fold two toilet paper tubes and squeeze them under the frame.
They have the advantage of not being too rigid and so not break the frame, but they are (although not beautiful) functional ;-))
Self-made Photo Frames
In the instruction they show how you can make a photo holder with few items.

Beaded Stars on CDs
Somehow I liked the beaded stars on CDs very well, even though I usually don’t like crafting with CDs very much ;-)
I liked especially the beaded stars on CDs that are used on the main site as candle holders.

Hand Made Soap

They say in the tutorial: melt the soap and pour into molds or something like that.
Haha.
Actually there seem to be soap and soap, on the photo you can see what happened to my soap: it didn’t melt at all and I only got a slobbery mass.
Well, another time I will look better what kind of soap I’m buying ;-))

I found more tutorials where they ‘refine’ the soap with almond oil and dried herbs:

Glass-in-Glass Votive
The tutorial is now unfortunately only to be find in webarchive (without photos), but I found the idea so good that I wanted to present it here anyhow.
I think that it should work as well with taping thin paper on the glass instead of frosting it.
Nice, isn’t it?

Advent Wreath in Glasses
I really like the idea of the Advent wreath which is assembled from tea glasses :)
