I find these tea light holders very nice. They’re made with slate off-cuts, but actually it should be possible to make them with self-made plaster tiles!?

The patterned concrete planters are actually easy to make because the pattern comes from the use of different plastic bottles.
A great idea!
I think that you can make this with plaster, too, but it would not be as waterproof and not as heavy as concrete.

I wrote once a tutorial on how to make yourself mosaic tiles from plaster.
With this tutorial however you can make really uniform plaster mosaic tiles.

Aren’t these cabbage leaf bowls beautiful?
Actually there made by casting leaf with alginate and then filling the mould with plaster, but surely it’s also possible to cast plaster between two cabagge leaves.
When was the time for cabbages again? ;-))

When I saw the video of the balloon bowls I was completely amazed!
But I think that I won’t make the bowls, not least because I don’t have such large balloons ;-)

Simply dip a couple of fabric flowers into plaster and you get such elegant plaster roses.
Amazing!
