This here is actually meant as picture frame Christmas tree, but I find that it would also be great as picture frame Advent calendar ;-)
You only have to put in coupons or beautiful pictures and then put on the number that can be taken away every day.

Somehow I seem to be completely fixated on Advent calendars at the moment because the tutorial for the decorated lids originally doesn’t have anything to do with Advent calendars ;-)
But it it works of course if you glue numbers on and put a (gift) coupon into the lid :))

What is more it surely would also be nice if you glue photos of your loved ones in the center of the lids (ok, then it surely wouldn’t be an Advent calendar anymore ;-))

I’ve seen a tutorial for a cute gift wrapping from woven Space invaders and thought immediately: it must be possible to decorate an Advent calendar with them!

For the number I used paper from an Christmas ad and for the background plain printer paper.
