I haven’t tested it yet, but I intend to make some of those fruit at the next birthday meal I will make.

When I found Scrapfriends I really had problems to stop looking and learning ;-)) It is such a treasure chest of How-to Articles!
One of them I really enjoyed was ‘How to Stamp With Markers’. Easy, cheap and with wonderful results. In a word: stunning!

Working with paper sometimes consists in tearing it. But mostly you want it to be torn in a particular way and not crooked ;-)
Creative Paper Crafts gives lots of tips, tricks and ideas, one of them being a how-to on tearing paper.
I tried this technique several times and it always worked out exactly the way I wanted.
Thats what I call a good instruction ;-))

Tearing Paper
I heard somewhere about felting soap and I asked myself why one should do this!
Then I found the tutorial on how to felt soap, tried it and really enjoyed it ;-)
It is not alone the process of felting, but later the washing of my hands with my felted soap felt wonderful too! So I didn’t give it away but kept it just for myself ;-)
It is gone now and I really should felt another.

After I’ve seen the tutorial on how to create such a background I tried it myself and it worked out great.
I never believed that I could paint such a beautiful background ;-)

I said before that I like compact bowls. These wax bowls can surely be made as compact as the paper mache bowls but I’d think that they are a lot heavier.
Unfortunately I had not yet time to try it myself.

I love those little boxes suitable for little gifts. So I was delighted founding instructions on how to fold an Origami one and made one immediatly. It was done with wrappings from dark chocolate which was completely adequate for the one who got the little box ;-))

I found many a beautiful paper mache bowl in internet and I like those compact bowls, so this tutorial this tutorial was like made for me ;-)
I tried the technique and it worked out well and looked great. Unfortunately I gave them away (I made two bowls in different sizes) and don’t have any photo of them.
