Repairing Knitted Lace Errors

Romis Studio Repairing Knitted Lace Errors

I’m very interested in lace knitting, so I can always do with tipps, e.g. for repairing knitted lace errors.

I also found a similar entry (Fixing lace part one and Fixing lace part two).

By the way, I find these tipps amazing :)

Stretch Sensitive Bracelet

Another great idea that I found in the book Häkeln + Stricken für Geeks: the stretch sensitive bracelet.
Very handy now that’s longer dark outside: as long as it’s light you wear it as normal non-shining wrist warmer and when it get’s dark, you shove it up your arm and then the light begins to shine and you’re better seen.

The Little Yellow Duck Project

The Little Yellow Duck Project

The Little Yellow Duck Project is meant to point out to people in a kind way how important it is to donate blood, tissue, bone marrow or organs.
You can simply make a little yellow duck, give it a tag with it’s name and purpose and leave it in public places for others to find.

Instructions for sewn, knitted and crocheted little ducks can be found on the website, as well as tags to print.

And if you find a little duck, you can tell them at The Little Yellow Duck Project so that everybody knows where the little ones have been found already :)

Thanks, Ute, for mentioning the project to me!
