Cord Holder

recyclart Cord Holder

Do the cords lie around everywhere? Simply cram them into a toilet paper cardboard roll on the wall ;-)))
I find this idea simply amazing!
And as creative as we are we surely can embellish the tube ;-))

By the way, I have more things that can be done with cardboard tubes ;-))

Sweater Trophies

recyclart Sweater Trophies

I’m completely amazed by these ‘trophies’! ;-)
I’m sure that you can make the shape yourself, e.g. from recycled cardboard and tape or even plaster.

If you don’t like this so much, you still can make sweater boots, a scarf from your old sweater or you can unravel it for the yarn ;-)

Crocheted Plastic Wind Chime

Kristinas Welt Crocheted Plastic Wind Chime

I wrote a couple of entries already that should help to prettify a garden (although I don’t have any ;-)) (see links below).
And I have several entries for making stuff from plastic bags, mostly bags.
So I like the idea of taking yarn from plastic bags and making plastic bag garden decorations quasi twice as much ;-))

The automatic translation isn’t very convincing but I think that it doesn’t matter: simply crochet items from plastic yarn, connect them and hang them in the garden as wind chimes.

Oil Lamp From Orange

recyclart Oil Lamp From Orange

I’ve seen the oil lamp from an orange and a little oil before, but I’ve completely forgotten about it.
Unfortunately the time for oranges here is nearly over, I will have to come back to the other oil lamp which works with cotton for a certain time.
And I don’t know whether I will prefer to make embellished oranges, then ;-)

Plastic Bottle Chandelier

PS I made this Plastic Bottle Chandelier

If you have eaten already the flowery pudding from the bottom of a plastic bottle, you can still make a chandelier from the ‘pudding mould’ ;-))

And if you don’t like it, simply make another lampshade ;-)

Flowery Pudding

eye candy Flowery Pudding

Again a really good idea: cut off the bottom of a plastic bottle and let set the pudding in there.
And soon you have a flowery pudding :))

But of course you can do muuuch more with plastic bottles ;-)

Addendum: In my German entry somebody commented saying the following (translation by me):
“Plastic bottles emit softening agents, environmental hormones and bisphenol-A from into their content. All not exactly good for your health. The warmer the content the more they emit. So not a good idea!

If you really want to do this let the pudding at least nearly completely cool down.”

Colourful Coasters from Curling Ribbon

Chica and Jo Colourful Coasters from Curling Ribbon

I really like the idea of the coasters, too: you often get curling ribbon nearly thrown after and it’s always wonderfully colourful, just the right thing for a picnic or a festive meal on the patio :)

But be careful: the coasters aren’t likely to be heat-proof!

And if you don’t like them, I have more tutorials for coasters ;-)

Sock Grass Heads

Ordinary Life Magic Sock Grass Heads

There, aren’t the little ones real personalities? ;-)
Well, perhaps I will put some of these little ones on my balcony.
If I haven’t anything better to do with my socks ;-))
