Sconic Sections

Evil Mad Scientist Sconic Sections

Sconic Sections are buns from scones dough, baked in shape of a cone, cut more or less at an angle and the cuts are filled with jam or nut spread.
The with the filling highlighted cuts are the four classic geometric curves that can occur from cone cuts: circle, ellipse, parabola, and hyperbola.
A great idea! :)

They are baked in conical cardboard cups, and if you don’t have any you can make them yourself, simply use the online cone calculator ;-)

Number Cookies Advent Calendar

Kittenhood Number Cookies Advent Calendar

I like the idea of the number cookies Advent calendar: simple and – yummy ;-)
To make the number cookies you can simply use the technique of the self-made alphabet cookie cutters.
And if you don’t like to string them, simply put the number cookie in a jar like for the quick cookie Advent calendar.
