Sometimes you have fine yarn that you want to work multistranded.
You can simply work from both ends of a skein to double it, if you want to triple it though, you simply must have three skeins – but only, if you don’t know how to triple the yarn very easily ;-))
Another wonderful idea for a generator: you let calculate the atomic spectrum of a desired chemical element and make a knitting pattern for a scarf from it (or a pattern for bead weaving, crochet etc.)!
The generator shows you then how many rows you must work for every colour.
I find this a great idea!
The picture has been calculated with the standard settings, I only made it broader to make it look more like a scarf ;-)

I find the construction of this potholder interesting.
It seems that you can also knit it.

I like to knit and crochet lace, but what to do with it?
Now I found some inspiration.
I like very much the fabric prints with the little crochet doilies :)
