A nice reader send me the link to the cardborad stampede.
She told me that she has made a horse already following the tutorial and that you can even let gallop the horse over your desk when you use a photo holder in place of let them go up the wall.

Somehow I really love painted shoes and so I was thrilled about the tutorial for self customized sneakers.
As much fun as spraypainted shoes ;-)
I think that I won’t do this because first I have too much shoes already and second they somehow don’t match my style, but who knows? ;-)

It would have never occurred to me to make such fascinators by myself, but then: Why not? ;-))
My hair is very soft and thin, therefore my fascinator should be at the most half as luxurious, but I think I will see what I can do there :)
I saw the instruction about how to make wire wrapped marble earrings and found it great.
But 1. I’d find real marbles too heavy in my ears and 2. I didn’t have any ;-)
So I took a pebble and wrapped it with the same technique with common anodised garden wire.
I think that it is suitable as jewelry only to a limited extent, because I think that the wire does not give a comfortable feeling on the skin. But on the other hand I can say that I can really recommend the instruction ;-))

I really love freeform and freeform crochet and therefore I found of course the instruction on how to crochet a freeform necklace with wire and beads instruction on how to crochet a freeform necklace with wire and beadsinteresting.
I haven’t tried it yet because I (still) have no jewelry wire and she wrote that her wire has since gone all rusty – it doesn’t have to come to this.
I will make the necklace one day!

Once I found an instruction on how to make a scarf from felted old sweaters but the website doesn’t exist anymore.

That’s how they did it:
In fact I would like to have a cardigan-kind garment made with this technique, no scarf.
Therefore I went to several second hand stores to look for wool sweaters but found mostly sweaters from artificial material which don’t felt.
But I stay tuned ;-)

For a certain time I worked tubular nets, e.g. to make necklaces like the ones on the photo.
I find them beautiful and that a simply eye catcher like the beaded freeform bead is enough. Additionally they are wonderful soft because the tubular net is so elastic.
You can use tubular netting as well to bead glass tubes like at the bead and wire wall vase or to bead little bottles.
