Photo Kaleidocycles

foldplay Photo Kaleidocycles

Once I had the Kaleidocycles book from M.C.Escher and I even folded some of the kaleidocycles, but then I never thought about it any more.
Until I found the page where you can let make kaleidocycles from your own potos.

If you want to see a kaleidocycle in action, look at the M.C.Escher Kaleidocycles the middle picture.
Or look at one of the videos in internet.
You can also read more about kaleidocycles or simply look at photos of them.

But best is making one yourself and to ‘spin round’ ;-))

Paper Flowers in Bottle Vase

DLTK Paper Flowers in Bottle Vase

That’s a cute vase that you can give away on Valentine’s Day, too, isn’t it?
If you don’t like it try one of the other vases here ;-)
I really like the paper flowers.

Paper Purse

craftster Paper Purse

I really like this little purse!

The content she put into the little purse isn’t meant for children but no one will press-gang you to pack the same things ;-)

You can find a scan of her template a little bit down the entry, with this you can make your own little paper purse – as gift wrap or for daily use is completely up to you ;-))

Fantastic Pop Up

Libros Pop-Up Books Cards Fantastic Pop Up

This time I find the title absolutely convenient: I find this pop up really fantastic!

Note: The PDF links can’t be reached anymore, apparently amongst other things because of copyright infringements.
After all we have to buy the book ourselves :)

Foldover Card

I find the principle behind these cards fascinating – and the one on the photo most beautiful!

And then I even found an instruction!

At the next opportunity I want, too! ;-))

Origami Architecture Patterns

Baud and Bui Origami Architecture Patterns

I find Origamic Architecture fascinating and presented some time ago already the Origamic Architecture pencil holder, now I found more (although mostly very simple) Origami Architecture patterns which can easily be used for little greeting cards.
I could surf the internet for hours and check – partly really spectacular – Origamic Architecture ;-)

Self-made Envelopes

the knitted blog Self-made Envelopes.jpg

Now there lies a lot of gift wrapping paper around at most of our homes and we have to think about what to do with it.
One possibility is to make envelopes from it – if it’s not too Christmassy then there’s no problem and if it is, then it’s great for the next year, after all Christmas always comes completely surprisingly ;-)
For me at least ;-)
