{"id":6071,"date":"2012-04-23T08:01:02","date_gmt":"2012-04-23T06:01:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unikatissima-e.riamore.eu\/?p=6071"},"modified":"2012-04-21T10:49:12","modified_gmt":"2012-04-21T08:49:12","slug":"roman-pear-soufflee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/unikatissima.riamore.eu\/e\/?p=6071","title":{"rendered":"Roman Pear Soufflee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"..\/uploads\/flickr_com mprmoreno Roman Pear Soufflee.jpg\" alt=\"flickr_com mprmoreno Roman Pear Soufflee\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft size-medium\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"links\"><a href=\"#li120423\"><strong>Links of entry<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Recently I&#8217;ve seen a documentary about the Romans and I found the dishes they presented interesting.<br \/>\nThere I learned that a certain <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Apicius\" target=\"_blank\">Apicius<\/a> wrote a cookbook that you still can get today (<a href=\"#li120423\">see links below<\/a>).<br \/>\nSearching on I found this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/17339060@N00\/182742881\/\" target=\"_blank\">picture here<\/a> and I found that this <em>Roman Pear Soufflee<\/em> looks delicious.<br \/>\nSo I looked how to prepare it and really found an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pompeii.org.uk\/ri.php\/ricetta-patina-de-piris-torta-di-pere-it-111-ri.htm\" target=\"_blank\">English recipe<\/a>. They said in the film that the Roman dishes were a haphazard mixture of sweet, hearty and hot from today&#8217;s perspective.<br \/>\nAnd can you believe it?
